Wi-Fi Indoor Positioning
Wi-Fi Indoor Positioning is a system that allows determining the location of people or objects inside a building using WiFi networks. The positioning system uses the signal strength from multiple networks to calculate the location.
Sylux works with this system, which operates by measuring the signal strength of various nearby WiFi networks and, through a triangulation technique, calculates the probability that a device is located in a specific position, enabling the creation of a detailed map.
Our device: CCTracker
We propose CCTracker, a device designed and manufactured by us. It uses ultra-low-power technology, incorporating LPWAN (such as Sigfox or LoRaWAN, depending on the country and use case) as the transmission method.
This allows periodic data transmission to the cloud without the excessive data consumption typical of conventional methods like WiFi or NB-IoT.
Sylux is device-agnostic and can work with CCTracker or any other device and transmission methods.
